Chat with Intercom help articles
Give website visitors answers based on the public articles in your Intercom help center.
Method: Website source. This uses article content only. It does not import conversations or connect Chatbit to the Intercom inbox.
Add Intercom help articles to Chatbit
Add the public article URLs in Chatbit's website sources and inspect the imported text. Start with the onboarding questions people ask before they become customers.
Open your chatbot's data sources to add the prepared content. Follow the source setup guide if this is your first bot.
Prepare useful source material
Choose articles written for the same audience as your chatbot. Explain any product-specific terms and include a clear next step for account problems.
Try these questions
How do I invite a teammate? Can I move an existing project into this account?
Compare each answer with the original content. Ask a follow-up, and try one question the source does not cover to check that the bot avoids guessing.
Keep the content current
When the original changes, update or replace the corresponding Chatbit source and test the affected answers again. Remove superseded copies so the bot is not working from conflicting versions.

Put the answers on your website
Once the answers are ready, adjust your welcome message and suggested questions. Find your website installation guide to publish the bot, or improve its responses before sharing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine this with other sources?
Yes. Add relevant website pages, files, text and Q&A to the same chatbot. Keep their facts consistent and check your plan's source limits.
Should I import everything at once?
Start with a small set that answers your most common questions. Check the extracted text and answers, then add more material where it fills a real gap.
