Make the answers in your public Help Scout Docs site available in a Chatbit conversation.

Add Help Scout Docs to Chatbit
Add the public article URLs as website sources. Check a sample from each collection to make sure Chatbit imported the useful article text.
Open your chatbot's data sources to add the prepared content. Follow the source setup guide if this is your first bot.
Prepare useful source material
Use one current article for each issue. Add related prerequisites where a troubleshooting answer otherwise depends on several separate pages.
Try these questions
How do I change my subscription? What should I try before asking the team for help?
Compare each answer with the original content. Ask a follow-up, and try one question the source does not cover to check that the bot avoids guessing.
Keep the content current
When the original changes, update or replace the corresponding Chatbit source and test the affected answers again. Remove superseded copies so the bot is not working from conflicting versions.

Put the answers on your website
Once the answers are ready, adjust your welcome message and suggested questions. Find your website installation guide to publish the bot, or improve its responses before sharing.

Can I combine this with other sources?
Yes. Add relevant website pages, files, text and Q&A to the same chatbot. Keep their facts consistent and check your plan's source limits.
Should I import everything at once?
Start with a small set that answers your most common questions. Check the extracted text and answers, then add more material where it fills a real gap.
