Chat with Airtable content
Turn a curated Airtable catalog into source material for product and service questions.
Method: Convert to text. This is a prepared snapshot, not an Airtable connector. Chatbit will not query the base, update records or check live availability through this workflow.
Add Airtable content to Chatbit
Choose a view containing only the records and fields intended for customers. Export it where available, then convert the selected values into labeled text and add that text to Chatbit.
Open your chatbot's data sources to add the prepared content. Follow the source setup guide if this is your first bot.
Prepare useful source material
Include linked-record names instead of unexplained IDs. For attachments, add the actual relevant text; a file URL alone does not explain its contents.
Try these questions
Which service includes a follow-up session? What materials are available for this product?
Compare each answer with the original content. Ask a follow-up, and try one question the source does not cover to check that the bot avoids guessing.
Keep the content current
When the original changes, update or replace the corresponding Chatbit source and test the affected answers again. Remove superseded copies so the bot is not working from conflicting versions.

Put the answers on your website
Once the answers are ready, adjust your welcome message and suggested questions. Find your website installation guide to publish the bot, or improve its responses before sharing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine this with other sources?
Yes. Add relevant website pages, files, text and Q&A to the same chatbot. Keep their facts consistent and check your plan's source limits.
Should I import everything at once?
Start with a small set that answers your most common questions. Check the extracted text and answers, then add more material where it fills a real gap.
