Chat with Dropbox files
Use selected manuals and customer documents in Dropbox as knowledge for Chatbit.
Method: Export and import. Chatbit uses the uploaded file, not a live Dropbox folder. Replacing a file in Dropbox does not replace the chatbot source.
Add Dropbox files to Chatbit
Download the chosen files from Dropbox. Unzip a folder download, then upload supported PDF, Word or TXT files to your chatbot.
Open your chatbot's data sources to add the prepared content. Follow the source setup guide if this is your first bot.
Prepare useful source material
Check for old copies with similar names. Keep the latest approved document and remove drafts before uploading.
Try these questions
What is included in the maintenance service? How should I prepare for the installation visit?
Compare each answer with the original content. Ask a follow-up, and try one question the source does not cover to check that the bot avoids guessing.
Keep the content current
When the original changes, update or replace the corresponding Chatbit source and test the affected answers again. Remove superseded copies so the bot is not working from conflicting versions.

Put the answers on your website
Once the answers are ready, adjust your welcome message and suggested questions. Find your website installation guide to publish the bot, or improve its responses before sharing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine this with other sources?
Yes. Add relevant website pages, files, text and Q&A to the same chatbot. Keep their facts consistent and check your plan's source limits.
Should I import everything at once?
Start with a small set that answers your most common questions. Check the extracted text and answers, then add more material where it fills a real gap.
